feat(meshalabs): meshalabs.li — this portfolio

A bilingual server-rendered portfolio built like a git log: version-controlled content, SEO and LLM discoverability, deployed through a CI/CD pipeline.

Result · impact

  • Public pages server-rendered and indexable without executing JavaScript
  • Bilingual FR / EN content with declared alternates

Context

A developer portfolio should first prove what it claims. This one is built to the same standard as a client product: server rendering, version-controlled content, accessibility and SEO handled from the start.

What I did

  • Server-side rendering with TanStack Start and React 19, so engines and visitors alike receive complete HTML.
  • Version-controlled content in the repository: the career timeline and case studies live with the code and stay visible even if the database is down.
  • SEO and GEO: per-page metadata and Open Graph, FR/EN hreflang alternates, Schema.org structured data, and dynamically generated sitemap.xml, robots.txt and llms.txt for agents.
  • Deployment via Docker image and a GitLab CI pipeline to a VPS, with a smoke test gating the release.
