Context

Meal-planning apps are built for Western kitchens and Western prices. They know nothing about ndolé, what a kilo of plantain actually costs in Bafoussam, or the fact that a meal is often a sauce plus a side.

What I did

Collaborative recipe catalogue: user submissions, per-step photos, votes, favourites, and a moderation pipeline (pending → in review → approved / popular / rejected).
Weekly planner generating a menu from the user profile (city, diet, allergies, budget, skill level, per-meal preferences), with the ability to lock one meal and regenerate the rest.
FCFA pricing engine: a canonical unit per ingredient, piece ↔ kilo and volume ↔ weight conversions by density, falling back to the national median when a city has no price record.
Realistic meal composition through sauce / side pairings.
